TBAWA Official Rules Edition 4

Level 1 Umpire Accreditation (New Umpires)

Level 1 accreditation consists of:

  1. Watching a 75 minute online video prior to attending the clinic (http://www.tbawa.org.au/tbawa/umpiring.html) click on Level 1 Umpire Video

  2. Attending a clinic (as per below) which is a 30 minute theory lecture and a 2 ½ hour practical training session

Level 2 Umpire Accreditation (Already have Level 1)

This is for all Umpires who have already attained Level 1 accreditation and wish to proceed to Level 2.

Level 2 accreditation consists of:

  1. Completing an online exam, 90% pass mark is required.  In the fair and foul section there will be five questions of which you must get all correct.

  2. Upon successful completion of the level 2 exam (we will notify you) you then have up to three attempts in 12 months in which to complete your practical examination.  When you are ready for a practical exam please email me on satc@mail.tidyhq.com and I will book an examining umpire to assess one of your games.
